Red Bull is not off to a flying start this weekend. The weather conditions have obviously disrupted the runs of Vettel and Webber, but according to the German, there is still work to be done to bring the RB8 to its best level.

This second session was largely disrupted by rain and the drivers didn't do much running in Australia. Michael Schumacher was the fastest ahead of Nico Hülkenberg and Sergio Pérez. Fernando Alonso is 4th.

With a lap time of 1:27.560, Jenson Button outpaced his teammate and Michael Schumacher's Mercedes. Fernando Alonso brought his Ferrari up to 4th place while Felipe Massa ended up in the gravel trap. Fifth, Mark Webber was the leading Red Bull driver, while Räikkönen, who was stuck in the pits for a steering rack change, managed to bring his Lotus E20 into the Top 10 under the checkered flag. Pedro de la Rosa did not participate in the session.
