The Force India cars are performing well on the Hungarian track. Adrian Sutil is in eighth position for the second time in as many races, while Paul di Resta just misses out on the top 10. In any case, both men are ideally positioned to aim for points tomorrow.

Rubens Barrichello had warned that Q3 would be out of reach, but he still hoped for better than his 15th place on the grid. A KERS issue denied him a better position on the grid, but he hopes to have a good race tomorrow. Maldonado chose not to go out in Q2 to save an extra set of super-softs, which could be an advantage in the race.

Just like in Germany last week, Red Bull Racing seems to be slowing down a bit compared to its main rivals. Mark Webber went off in the morning after hitting a curb a bit too hard. Vettel admits that the battle will be tight with Ferrari and McLaren for the rest of the weekend.

Williams continues to try to improve the performance of its car. The team therefore brought new parts to Hungary. Maldonado tried a new cooling system while Barrichello used a new rear wing. Jarno Trulli returned to his seat at Team Lotus after leaving his T128 to Karun Chandhok in Germany. The Italian driver was able to test a new power steering that finally gives him satisfaction. Team Lotus also introduced some updates to the rear end. Heikki Kovalainen believes it's a step in the right direction, even though the right setup still needs to be found for this Grand Prix.
