Saturday: Force India will aim for points in the race
The Force India cars are performing well on the Hungarian track. Adrian Sutil is in eighth position for the second time in as many races, while Paul di Resta just misses out on the top 10. In any case, both men are ideally positioned to aim for points tomorrow.
Adrian Sutil – 8th:
« I am very happy with my qualification and it’s a pleasant feeling to start from the 8th position for the second consecutive time. This morning in the last practice session, things didn’t seem so good because I was struggling with a general lack of grip. We changed a few small things for qualifying – apparently the right ones – and this afternoon the car was working really well and I achieved the time we thought possible. In the past, the Hungaroring hasn’t been a circuit where we have been very strong because it is a track with a lot of downforce, so it’s great to show once again that our car is competitive everywhere. Race strategy will be important, but we are starting in a good position. »
Paul di Resta – 11th:
« Starting in 11th position is not so bad, but I was hoping to be a bit higher. I’m in a good position to score some points tomorrow and it’s nice to start on the clean side of the track. We had some issues with the super-softs in Q1, but our stint on softs was very good and I was pleased with the car. My last lap in Q2 wasn’t quite good. During practice we showed that we can be competitive on long stints, and I think we can have a good race.
