Timo Glock had a complicated day today as the behavior of his car was significantly altered with the higher temperatures encountered in China today. The German driver had to work very hard to regain better sensations with his MR01. On his side, Charles Pic experienced similar but less significant problems. The Frenchman was a bit disappointed with his performance in qualifying, but he is happy with the competitiveness of his Marussia.

The two Sauber drivers managed to qualify in Q3 today, with a special mention to Kamui Kobayashi who will start from 3rd place on the grid. Sergio Pérez will start from 8th position. Both men hope to take advantage of their good positions to score big points in the race tomorrow.
