Spa 6 Hours – Free Practice 2: Porsche takes the lead again, Cadillac positions itself
Porsche number 6 was the fastest in this second free practice session. Ferrari stays close. Cadillac impresses with the third fastest time.
A little change in the hierarchy. After a double Ferrari in the first practice session, there is only one left on the podium in the second session. Number 50 took the second best time in Spa, just behind Porsche number 6.
While she hadn’t attracted attention this morning, the Cadillac set the third-best time of this session. Toyota, which was at the bottom of the rankings, returned to the front this afternoon. Number 7 set the fourth fastest time in 2:04’883”.
On the side of the tricolor forces, the results are very mixed. The Peugeots only took 9th and 13th places on the Ardennes track. At Alpine, car number 35 only achieved the 16th fastest time, while the sister car was slower than the Hypercars.
Among the GT3, the Lexus from the Akkodis team went from last to first place during the day (2;21’257”). Number 78 is closely followed by the Lamborghini of the Iron Dames. Only a tenth separates the two cars. The pink girls thus confirm their good start to the weekend.
