Toyota gives its Hypercar a black dress for 2024
On Tuesday December 12, the Japanese automaker unveiled a new livery for its hypercar entered in the World Endurance Championship.
Finished with white and red. Welcome matte black. This is a small revolution at Toyota that was announced this Tuesday morning. The reigning world champion manufacturer has decided to change the livery of its Hypercar for the upcoming season.
This new color symbolizes the production of ever-improving automotive sports cars and their constant pursuit of evolution, explains the brand.
The car will not be entirely black. The roof will be silver to better control the temperature inside the cabin and prevent it from getting too hot. Touches of red will be present here and there to highlight the Hypercar number or sponsors.
Next season, the Toyota #7 will be driven by Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi, and Nyck de Vries, while the #8 will once again be entrusted to Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley, and Ryo Hirakawa.
