Season 11 schedule now definitive

Season 11 of Formula E will finally be identical to Season 11 in terms of the number of races. Initially planned with 17 races, which would have been a record, the next calendar of the electric single-seater championship will consist of 16 events spread across 10 locations around the world.

During the presentation of the provisional calendar last June, one event was still to be confirmed for March 8, 2025. Even though it had not been officially confirmed, the fifth race of the season was supposed to take place in the city of Chiang Mai, in Thailand. However, the country’s political instability seems to have thwarted the organization of an ePrix in this northern Thai city.

There will thus be a gap of two months in the calendar between the two races held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on February 14 and 15, and the Miami ePrix on April 12. In its statement, Formula E indicates, however, that several events could fill this long break. Events that will be announced in the coming months.

Compared to last season, the FE calendar is losing the two races in Portland and the two that were held at the Misano Adriatico circuit. While the presence of the United States will be ensured by a race at the Homestead Speedway in Miami, the Italian round will not be replaced.

To compensate for these changes, the electric single-seaters will return to the Jakarta track in June, while the Monaco and Tokyo ePrix will become two-race events. The highlight of the season will happen on May 3rd and 4th in the Principality. Along with these two ePrix, the rounds in Jeddah, Shanghai, Berlin, and London will also host two races.

Finally, it should be noted that out of the ten destinations visited, three of them will see the 22 drivers on the grid compete on permanent circuits, Mexico, Miami, and Shanghai, in a season that will start on December 7 in Sao Paulo and end on July 26 and 27, 2025 in London.
