The prestigious BRDC (British Racing Drivers’ Club), which oversees the Silverstone circuit, has confirmed it is currently seeking new partners to help contribute to the development of the renowned British circuit.
In addition to ongoing improvements at the circuit, such as the construction of new stands, the investments would involve the construction of new hotels, a motorsport training center, an academy for young drivers, an international karting track, a global motorsport Hall of Fame, as well as an entire industrial zone…
The idea, according to BDRC President Stuart Rolt, is to fully realize the potential of the Silverstone area, also highlighting that the economic benefits would be advantageous to all local economic players.
It is the company PricewaterhouseCoopers that would be responsible for contacting potential investors to successfully carry out this large-scale project.
The Silverstone circuit has hosted Formula 1 every year without interruption since 1987, and one can imagine that through these investments, the BDRC wishes to confirm Silverstone as one of the most essential venues in motorsports.
