Free Practice 3: Hamilton Strikes Back!

During this Free Practice 3 session, it was the Englishman Hamilton in his McLaren who won the session ahead of Vettel and Alonso. As for his teammate Button, who started off very well at the beginning of the session, he only achieved the 5th fastest time behind Massa’s Ferrari.

This session was marked by the incident of Webber stopping in turn 1. The cause was an engine cut-off as he was attacking the right curb of the turn.
