Red Bull does not underestimate its opponents

The boss of the Red Bull Racing team, Christian Horner, is adamant: the team is ready to win the championship this year, but does not underestimate its opponents.

Indeed, Red Bull finished the 2009 season as the strongest team (despite a second place in the championship), and is heading to Bahrain (note: March 12-13-14) as one of the favorites for victory.

The team admitted to making the utmost effort to not keep up with the results of other teams, given that, as Christian Horner says: « It’s difficult to predict what other teams are doing and with what fuel loads ». According to him, the team had already experienced interesting advancements in Abu Dhabi, « some of which you won’t see until Bahrain. »

Horner seems convinced that, even though Red Bull remains a relatively young team, it has every chance of emerging as Champion this season without being obsessed with the title. Indeed, the team boss believes that being too focused on the championship can create problems and adds that the team will do everything necessary to get the most out of each weekend.

Red Bull has a team, whose two drivers, M. Webber and S. Vettel, work very well together, thus balancing youth and experience.
