Qatar Telecom (QTel) is the leading company in the field of telecommunications in Qatar, with a presence in 17 countries, and their partnership with Brawn GP will see the Qtel brand logo displayed on the rear wing, chassis, and sides of the cockpit of Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello’s Brawn-Mercedes single-seaters throughout the race weekend.
The team principal, Ross Brawn, said: “We are delighted to be associated with Qatar Telecom as this weekend, Formula One returns to the Gulf for the final race of the 2009 season. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is shaping up to be a fantastic finale with a very impressive new venue at the Yas Marina Circuit, to what has been a very exciting season of racing.”
With the two guaranteed World Championships, Brawn GP will be looking for a good result in Abu Dhabi to round off the season, and we look forward to welcoming our new partners from Qatar Telecom to the team during this weekend.
