Bruno Senna could conduct a test for the Renault team later this year. The French car manufacturer would continue its evaluation of a second driver for next season. A senior Renault official confirmed that the team is in talks with Ayrton Senna’s nephew to conduct a test driving their car for one of the post-season tests. Reserve driver Lucas Di Grassi is already confirmed for one of the three days the team is allowed to run.

In addition to his discussions with Renault, Bruno Senna remains in contract negotiations with both teams, Campos and Manor, for next year and he is very optimistic that it will soon be settled.

« Things are really looking good. » The young Brazilian declared. « We are in a much better position than we were last year. We have talked with several teams and overall everything went well. The fact that there are new teams means more opportunities for incoming drivers. »

« We speak with most of the new teams, except with the Americans. We are discussing with the current teams in the paddock. But the chances are better with the new teams, and that’s where we are focusing the most. » Explains Ayrton Senna’s Nephew.

He added: « It’s very tight between Manor and Campos and still very open, nothing is defined. But in the next two weeks, we should have a good idea of what will happen. »
