Brazilian GP: Red Bull wants victory or nothing

Red Bull Racing and in particular, Sebastian Vettel, aim for nothing less than victory this weekend. The team has good reasons to be confident. In Japan, the Red Bull outclassed any other car on the grid by half a second despite the limited running time to save the remaining engines. Indeed, the 8 power units of the two drivers have all already completed at least one race or more. A penalty for using a ninth engine is not to be excluded this weekend.

Despite everything, Sebastian Vettel will do everything possible to win the Grand Prix. In order to stay in the title race for the final event in Abu Dhabi, the young German must score 7 more points than Jenson Button. We can be certain that his teammate, Mark Webber, will help him achieve this goal.

Mark Webber – Racing Driver:

Although I have never achieved good results in Brazil, I love driving there. As for the team, we have had many “firsts” this year, so I want to achieve another “first” in Brazil by getting a good result. There is always a fantastic atmosphere, especially when Brazilian drivers are at the front. Felipe [Massa] was there in recent years, and Rubens [Barrichello] during his Ferrari years too, and today, he could be on top again with Brawn GP. The crowd is always great and it’s a small, intimate circuit. It’s a track where you expect the car to perform perfectly. It’s nice to come here; it’s a place filled with history with all the famous drivers, such as Senna. It’s really a good place to race. It’s a bumpy circuit; the car often climbs hills only to brake downhill in some places, which is really nice. The weather can play a role here, it can rain very heavily, so you have to be ready for anything. The team has done a good job of bouncing back after tough weekends in Monza and Valencia. We were better in Singapore, which was a good indication that the rest of the season should go well. We always knew we would be fast at Suzuka, but we now have the conviction that we can perform solidly on the remaining tracks. I will do everything to be back in the points.

Sebastian Vettel – Racing Driver

Winning in Japan was very special thanks to the fans, even if winning is always fantastic. I felt queasy when I saw the number of fans leaving the stands to cheer for me. On top of that, it’s such a special track… There have been a lot of travels in a short time between Suzuka and Sao Paulo, and I’ve been sweating a lot this week so far. I’ve done cycling, tennis, and other sports. But due to the time differences, I had to take some time to relax and unwind as well. As for Sao Paulo, the track is magnificent, the fans incredible, and the city is full of great restaurants. For the moment, we seem a step above [the other teams] for the last two races, the championship is still open. We will do our best and try to win the remaining races! There is a long way to go, but we are here to fight.
