Renault in yellow and black?

The R29 manufactured by Renault might have its paint modified dramatically during the last two races of the season. With sponsor ING deciding to withdraw in the wake of the crash-gate scandal, the French team is currently using a modified version of its original yellow, orange, white, and red livery on the current car.

The rules in F1 are that the cars remain essentially the same throughout the entire season, and a major change would only be allowed with the unanimous support of all the other teams in the paddock.

The rumor is that the possible new livery for the final phases in Brazil and Abu Dhabi would bring Renault’s traditional colors, namely yellow and black. For example, the orange in the foreground – synonymous with the Dutch bank – has been removed from the drivers’ suits. It is also possible that the clothing used in Suzuka last weekend was a purely temporary solution, before making changes again for the last two races of 2009.
