Friday: Big Question for Red Bull

Red Bull is certainly the team that has given the least indication to other competitors. The drivers of the energy drink’s team covered a very limited number of kilometers to save the engines for upcoming qualifications and races. That being said, Mark Webber placed 9th during the first practice session and 14th during the second session of the day. The young German, Sebastian Vettel, finished twice at the back of the pack, in 18th place each time.

Elements of response tomorrow for the qualifications.

Mark Webber – 9th and 14th:

A mixed day. We had an electrical problem in P2, which probably cost us about one and a half laps. In Monza, mileage is important, and it’s the first time we’re driving here this year, as we usually test the car in advance. This track is always unique with very high speeds. We need to find a good rhythm, but I’m confident we’ll be good during tomorrow’s qualifications.

Sebastian Vettel – 18th and 18th:

It’s a surprise to watch the times and see which drivers are at the top and which are in the middle. There’s nothing wrong on our end, and everything is going as planned – we knew this Friday would be tough due to the limited number of engines. We still need to improve, but as of today, it seems impossible to predict who will come out on top in the race.
