The first provisional 2010 calendar available

The FOM has published a provisional calendar for the Grand Prix for the next season, which includes 18 events. The 2010 season would start on March 14 and end on November 7.

Among the notable events, Australia loses its traditional season-opening spot to Bahrain, as was the case in 2006. Another significant event is the return of the Canadian Grand Prix after a one-year break, although official confirmation is awaited.

On the circuit side, the British Grand Prix is noted as taking place at Donington, although there are still many uncertainties surrounding the financing of the project. The Silverstone circuit would remain an option in case of impossibility. The same goes for Germany; Hockenheim is indicated even though no commercial agreement has yet been reached between the organizers and Bernie Ecclestone…
