Michael Schumacher will do some more tests at the wheel of the F2007 this week to continue his preparation for his return to F1.
In anticipation of his participation in Valencia at the end of August, he will once again drive on the Mugello circuit with the 2-year-old Ferrari on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to his spokesperson, Sabine Kehm.
In accordance with the strict rule banning tests during the season, the car belongs to and will be prepared by the F1 Clienti department, which operates separately from the racing department. Just over a week ago, Schumacher had already driven on this same track for about 70 laps, with the same car.
Ferrari’s efforts to obtain an exception to the testing ban, which would have allowed Schumacher to test Massa’s 2009 car, were blocked by the vetoes imposed by Williams and both Red Bull teams.
