Dave Ryan has definitively left McLaren

McLaren announced yesterday that it is definitively parting ways with one of its sporting directors, Dave Ryan. It also promises to collaborate with the FIA before the World Motor Sport Council hearing, which will take place at the end of the month.

The Woking team must appear before the World Council on April 29 to answer accusations of lying in the case concerning Hamilton’s disqualification at the Australian Grand Prix.

Indicating that the team wanted to work with the FIA in the interest of Formula 1, McLaren also confirmed that Ryan, who was suspended from his duties last Friday during the weekend in Malaysia, has now permanently left the team.

« McLaren received the invitation to appear before the World Motor Sport Council meeting in Paris on April 29 on Tuesday afternoon, » said McLaren in a statement.

« We commit to fully cooperating in the process initiated by the World Council, and we welcome the opportunity to work with the FIA in the interest of Formula 1. »

Tuesday, McLaren and its former sporting director, Dave Ryan, officially parted ways. Consequently, he is no longer an employee of any of the McLaren Group companies.
