Honda finalizes its acquisition with itself!

Honda GP Limited, the name of the company, Honda Racing has officially initiated the process of buying itself out and is expected to confirm it in the coming weeks.

Nigel Kerr, director of the company, who appears to be involved in the acquisition of the team led by team principal Ross Brawn, signed a number of forms filed with the parent company.

The acquisition of the company is in its final phase and must overcome all the legal processes.

No new information on the acquisition situation is expected for at least a week, and possibly longer. Paradoxically, the team might start its tests with the new Mercedes-Benz powered car at Silverstone next week.

However, Brawn, who is assured of remaining in his role, is expected to make an official presentation of his team next week at a press conference in Geneva in the presence of members of FOTA, the association of Formula 1 teams.

He should address topics such as his role within the FOTA and therefore indirectly his role as a director of an F1 team since the organization must outline its visions for the future.
