New FIA measures for next year

The International Automobile Federation released these few lines today:
« Given the difficult economic conditions that continue to impact the world of Formula 1 as well as the major sponsors of car manufacturers, the FIA is preparing radical proposals for 2010. »
« If these proposals are adopted in the future by the world motor sport council, the new regulations will allow a team to participate in the championship with a lower budget. »
These regulations will not affect the established teams that now have stable support from major automobile manufacturers, but will allow new teams to fill the existing vacancies in the premier category for 2010.
The proposals will be submitted at a world council meeting on March 17th.
