Which American drivers are in the new USF1 team?

With the arrival of a new American team in F1 named USF1, attention is already turning to the possible occupants of the two racing seats.

The IndyCar driver, Danica Patrick has already announced her connection with the team, but other American names have been mentioned in the motorsport world.

AJ Allmendinger is one of the drivers associated with USF1, but he stated that he wants to focus on his arrival in NASCAR, even though he considers this opportunity in Formula 1 as fascinating.

Kyle Busch, NASCAR driver, is a possible contender for the position, while former F1 driver Scott Speed can leverage his experience after a past of 28 Grand Prix in the premier category of motorsports. Conor Daly and Marco Andretti have also been linked with the Ken Anderson and Peter Windsor project.

The latter, for the daily newspaper The Independent, made sure to clarify that no decision regarding the engines or the drivers has been made.
