It seems that the acquisition project of the company, led by Nick Fry and Ross Brawn, was about to materialize in recent days, until an anonymous person emerged. It would be Richard Branson.
The Daily Telegraph cited an anonymous source from the company describing as renowned, the person capable of providing long-term financial stability for Honda, with an additional globally recognized brand image.
« Formula 1 would love to see him present, » the source added.
Branson, through his Virgin brand, is present, among other fields, in travel and entertainment.
