Davidson will commentate on F1 on BBC Radio

Anthony Davidson, the former Super Aguri driver, confirmed today that he will become a radio commentator. He will indeed be part of the BBC team to commentate on the Grand Prix of the 2009 season. It will be on BBC 5.

The Briton will thus join David Croft, who has been commentating on F1 since last year, and Holly Samos, a journalist present in the paddocks.

During the last few years as a Formula 1 driver, I have been invited several times to comment on F1 on BBC5. This time, I will be able to comment on it full-time, and I am very eager. He explained.

« Commenting gives me the chance to explain what it really means to drive an F1 car to the limit. I could thus share my knowledge over the entire 2009 weekends. »

Davidson had been without a steering wheel since the 2008 Spanish Grand Prix, where Super Aguri had left Formula 1. However, he had competed in endurance racing.
