The new Ferrari single-seater, the F60, made its track debut at the Mugello circuit after its launch this morning.
Brazilian Felipe Massa hit the track at 10:35 a.m. to complete a first lap with the new car.
He then returned to action at 10:55 am to complete another lap. The Ferrari driver said he was delighted and excited to drive the F60 for its first laps.
The Scuderia plans to participate in five test sessions before the season opener in Australia. The Italian team will be in action at Portimao in Portugal, in Saudi Arabia, in Bahrain, at Jerez, and in Barcelona.
