Opening this year of a F1 theme park in Dubai

As motorsport continues to grow in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai is preparing to launch F1-X, the first theme park entirely dedicated to Formula 1.

The 70-hectare park will feature over 20 rides and attractions, including three custom-built ones modeled after Formula 1 single-seaters. The F1-X concept is to recreate and remix the premier class of motorsport.

The park is designed for men, women, and children, allowing them to get up close to technology, tour the F1-X paddock with specially created teams. In addition, all the meaning, boldness, and unfortunately the dramas in F1 will be addressed.

The vast majority of Formula 1 teams were involved in the design and development process of the project. The layout of the park even resembles a real F1 circuit. F1-X will be a mix of action, cinematic experience, multimedia, and thrills for the whole family. 25% of the area is specially designed for children.

To capture the very spirit of Formula 1, 270 hours of video are analyzed to recreate the atmosphere. The graphics, animation, and atmospheric conditions in the park will create the sensation of an exciting race day and the promise of reaching a new milestone in the theme park concept.

F1-X is scheduled to open its doors in the fall.
