Red Bull Racing will unveil its new single-seater on track in February. The information comes from the team itself.
The RB5, powered by Renault, will be on track at the Jerez circuit on February 9th.
We announced a few days ago that no RB5 would be delivered before March. A change in strategy is therefore credited to the team. The team principal, Christian Horner, explains this change:
« Our strategic plan has always been to fully leverage the past years to start the 2009 season under the best auspices. We use the time allotted to us as much as possible to optimize the car as much as possible. The multiple changes in regulations serve as a framework for us to be ready on the starting grid of the Melbourne Grand Prix, » stated Horner.
