Scuderia Ferrari appears to be the first team to unveil their 2009 car, according to reports in the Italian press.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the prancing horse team intends to unveil its F2009 in Fiorano in mid-January.

The most likely date remains Thursday, January 15th, the same day as the Toyota team, which is scheduled to unveil images of its TF109.

One day later, the new McLaren-Mercedes will be launched in Woking and on Monday, January 19th, the 2009 version of Williams and Renault will debut for the Algarve tests in Portugal.

Then, on Tuesday, January 20, it will be BMW-Sauber’s F1.09 that will attract everyone’s attention at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia, Spain.

Finally, Red Bull does not intend to start testing with the RB5 before February. Force India and Toro Rosso will wait until March to launch their 2009 car.

The uncertainty remains with Honda or the former Honda team. The tribulations of the former Japanese team will undoubtedly be the source of the 2008/2009 off-season saga!
