Rosberg confident despite his 2008 season

Nico Rosberg claims he is fully committed to helping Williams advance on the starting grid next season, despite a very disappointing 2008 season that did not live up to expectations.

The German achieved two podiums last season during which the team was unable to deliver consistent results with its FW30.

But despite the difficulties, Rosberg has no regrets about his new commitment with the team and insists that his determination is unwavering.

« I have a contract for next year and I am motivated to turn things around, » said the Williams driver on the team’s official website.

« Everyone in the factory deserves better results and we will work hard to achieve them. »

Rosberg believes that the lessons learned throughout the difficult moments of 2008 should put Williams in a good position to work on areas where improvements are possible in 2009.

« It was a difficult year for us, we were never in sync with our goals. Nevertheless, we learned a lot of things that will help us do better in 2009, » he continued.

« I learned to fight even when a situation is difficult. »
