After the arrival of Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull has just signed a contract with a new sponsor for the upcoming season, ‘Trust’.
This IT company is not without experience in motorsport partnerships as it was present in GP2 with Team Arden.
Trust CEO Michel Perridon stated: “We know that motorsport uses the latest technologies, and we are fortunate to gain momentum by becoming a partner of the Red Bull Racing team. We did not hesitate to seize this opportunity with both hands. There are many positive aspects thanks to this partnership because our presence in the world of Formula 1 will allow us to reach international markets dynamically.”
The two drivers will display the company’s logo on their respective helmets, but it will not appear on the cars.
Red Bull Racing manager Christian Horner stated: “We are pleased to welcome this new sponsor and look forward to a mutually successful partnership. It is important for the team to enter the 2009 season with a new dynamic partner.”
In the current rather challenging context where teams struggle to meet their budget, Red Bull brings a breath of fresh air to the world of F1 by demonstrating that new partners can still invest in the elite of motorsport.
