McLaren has confirmed that it will present its 2009 car, the MP4-24, on January 16 at its base: The McLaren Technology Centre in Woking.
The team will test a part of the 2009 single-seater during the tests in Jerez and Algarve in Portugal, both of which will take place before the end-of-year holidays.
Then, the new car will be unveiled two weeks after January 1st in the presence of drivers Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen.
Matt Bishop, head of communications and public relations at the British team, stated: « The new single-seater will be black and professional, and its curves will be distinctive. »
