The Ferrari booth trains its employees on defibrillators

More than sixty Ferrari employees received their diplomas certifying that they successfully passed the exam on the use of defibrillators. This initiative was organized by the Scuderia itself.

Many employees (64 to be exact) participated in sessions where resuscitation techniques with defibrillators were taught. Each trained on mannequins to be as close to reality as possible.

The initiative, in collaboration with the firefighters, is an experiment to anticipate future regulations concerning first aid in the workplace. The KERS is the most concerning due to its risk of electrocution. A BMW mechanic vividly recalls the effect it produces…

Inside the Ferrari booth, several defibrillators will be installed, allowing for immediate intervention in case of an emergency.

Present at this graduation ceremony, several representatives of local authorities emphasized the value of this program for its social impact: « Ferrari projects a positive culture image in terms of first aid. Employees will also be able to intervene outside their workplace. »
