Klien (BMW) has "never seen such a sexy car"

Following the regulation changes by the FIA for the 2009 World Championship, significant aerodynamic developments will be made on the cars for the next season.

BMW was present at the winter tests in Barcelona with arguably the most well-developed car.

Once all eyes were on the single-seater, driver Christian Klien stated during these tests that the BMW-Sauber is the worst Formula 1 car he has ever seen.

« I’ve never seen such a sexy car, » joked Klien after the test. Certainly, the design is completely new, and the driver added: « But we will get used to it. There will be many changes until the first race in March. »

The very large front wing and, conversely, the narrowness of the rear one is not the most attractive, but Klien admitted that design was one thing and driving was another. The Austrian added: As you have seen, the lap times are already very good, and there will still be some improvements to come over the winter.
