Coulthard, put to the test in the streets of… Buenos Aires

The future F1 retiree, David Coulthard, had fun this Saturday, spending a few minutes behind the wheel of a Red Bull car in the center of Buenos Aires.

The Argentine capital partially closed one of its main boulevards to allow the demonstration to take place. The crowd was estimated at 80,000 fans who admired the Scot.

The 37-year-old driver was making accelerations over 600 meters of straight line, generating enough noise to satisfy the ears of the supporters.

After 15 years of good and loyal service in Formula 1, the end of the season in a week in Brazil will be Coulthard’s very last event before a well-deserved retirement.

He is, however, expected to participate in tests for Red Bull Racing. In any case, he will take on an advisory role for the team.
