Toyota is the first Formula 1 team to confirm the launch date of its 2009 car.
The Japanese team has decided to unveil its TF109 on January 16th, even though the location has not been confirmed. However, it is likely to be in Cologne.
The future car will be very different from the 2008 model due to a series of rule changes aimed at reducing costs and improving overtaking.
Jarno Trulli stated that he was satisfied with Toyota’s current season but that the team must now reserve itself for next year.
