Scheduled launch for Toyota’s TF109

Toyota is the first Formula 1 team to confirm the launch date of its 2009 car.

The Japanese team has decided to unveil its TF109 on January 16th, even though the location has not been confirmed. However, it is likely to be in Cologne.

The future car will be very different from the 2008 model due to a series of rule changes aimed at reducing costs and improving overtaking.

Jarno Trulli stated that he was satisfied with Toyota’s current season but that the team must now reserve itself for next year.

The team has done a remarkable job with great progress compared to 2007. Let’s move forward step by step. We know there is still a lot of work to do.

« We will change the regulations next year, which will have an impact on everyone. The team must focus on making sure these changes are an advantage for them. »
