Official confirmation of the 2009 Force India driver line-up

Force India will retain its two current drivers, Adrian Sutil and Giancarlo Fisichella, for the next season. The announcement comes from the owner of the Indian team, Vijay Mallya.

« I state loudly and clearly that I am satisfied with Adrian and Giancarlo. They will continue the adventure with Force India until the end of 2009, » declared Mallya during a press conference in China.

The German joined the team last season, where he was a driver for Spyker at the time.

Fisichella is currently in his first season with Force India after leaving the Renault team.

The two drivers have not scored any points yet this year.
