Hamilton complains about his colleagues

Lewis Hamilton believes that the biggest challenge on the Valencia circuit is not learning the track but managing the proximity to other drivers.

The Briton finished, for example, in fifth place in Free Practice 2 and although he enjoys this circuit, he is not very satisfied with the fact that some drivers deliberately slow down.

« It is very important to leave a gap if you want to make a turn smoothly. Some turns can prove dangerous, » said Hamilton.

Except for this point, Hamilton is very happy, for the moment, with the progress of the weekend.

« I feel good, » he stated.

« We had a good day yesterday, apart from a lack of grip. I think we started off on the right foot. We gradually increased our pace and completed our testing program. »

The leader of the world championship has not lodged any complaint regarding the design of the circuit, which has attracted praise from many drivers.

« The two long straights allow for cooling of your tires. It is still a difficult circuit. »

« As the practice sessions went on, I took things step by step, trying to improve the car’s balance. You just have to find all the pieces and put the puzzle together. »
