The co-owner of Force India, Vijay Mallya, hinted that his current lineup with Giancarlo Fisichella and Adrian Sutil would remain unchanged in 2009.
But there is still a possibility that the Indian billionaire will give a chance to a compatriot…
Karthikeyan, 31 years old, who races for India in the A1GP series and has recently been a test driver for Williams, and GP2 driver Karun Chandhok are in pole position for a future position at Force India.
According to Newsindpress, he stated: « Being a driver for an F1 team is not an achievement. Vijay Mallya has done an excellent job. And only he can answer the question of my presence in his team. »
