Lewis Hamilton will give himself a new opportunity to make an impression on his audience next month by performing a demonstration with his McLaren during the DTM event at Brands Hatch.
Fresh off his victory at the British Grand Prix, Hamilton has confirmed that he will be behind the wheel of his single-seater at Brands Hatch on August 31 when the DTM stops in the UK for a weekend.
« I am really looking forward to participating in a DTM race again, » said Hamilton.
« I have fond memories of this period when I took part in the Formula 3 Euro Series, which is managed as a support event for DTM races. »
« I really love the atmosphere of the DTM. I really enjoyed my 2005 season when I became the Formula 3 Euro Series champion and when the Mercedes-Benz DTM team celebrated their title won at Zandvoort. »
The boss of the Brands Hatch circuit, Jonathan Palmer, added: « We are obviously delighted that Lewis is joining us at Brands Hatch for the DTM event in August. »
