The three-time WTCC world champion, Andy Priaulx will return to driving a Formula 1 car at Brands Hatch with a BMW-Sauber next month.
Priaulx, who has already experienced driving a Formula 1 single-seater, will perform a demonstration of laps on the Grand Prix circuit on July 26 and 27.
« The WTCC at Brands Hatch promises to be another great weekend, » said Priaulx, who tested for the Williams BMW team in 2005.
« It’s always a highlight for me to race in front of my fans, and I’m eager to give them maximum enjoyment both in the WTCC races and in an F1 car.
« The noise is phenomenal and it promises to be a real spectacle. »
The CEO of Sport Auto Vision, Jonathan Palmer added: « We are very pleased that BMW has chosen Brands Hatch to showcase its Formula 1 cars. »
The speed, the sight, and particularly the sound of a F1 single-seater will be quite surprising and will undoubtedly attract many spectators for this unique occasion.
