Rubens Barrichello will start from the last position on the grid for the French Grand Prix after changing his gearbox following the qualifying session.
The Honda driver had only achieved the 18th fastest time during this event but gained a place to be 17th thanks to Nico Rosberg’s penalty, who, like Lewis Hamilton, was responsible for the pit lane collision in Montreal.
Barrichello will now join Rosberg on the last row of the grid.
His teammate, Jenson Button will start the race from 16th position, but the team is optimistic about his chances of displaying a better pace during the race.
