The FIA has officially confirmed that Sebastian Vettel will be demoted five places on the starting grid for the Monaco Grand Prix due to a gearbox change.
The introduction of the new Scuderia Toro Rosso car in Monte Carlo required the team to install a new gearbox because the units are not compatible between the old model, the STR2B, and the new version, the STR3.
