Monaco GP – The Ultra-Softs appear on your screens!

Hirohide Hamashima – Director of Bridgestone Motorsport:

« Monaco is a difficult circuit to master where every mistake is severely punished. We bring our softest compounds for this event with the soft and ultra-soft tires.

« This track will place high demands on our tires. In the absence of traction control, drivers will need to be cautious of slippery surfaces. »

« The ultra-soft tires have been modified compared to last year to provide more grip. We have tried to achieve this without sacrificing other characteristics, such as wear rate or stiffness. »

Monaco will be the first weekend of the season where we will use this type of compound. It will be interesting to see how it performs, especially since we will use it again at the Canadian Grand Prix following Monaco.
