McLaren drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen, will shine brightly next week at the Monaco Grand Prix thanks to a superb creation… from a team sponsor, Steinmetz.
As part of what has become a tradition at the Monte Carlo race, Steinmetz collaborated with the drivers to create their own personalized helmet, with their name encrusted with diamonds.
« I really like what Steinmetz has done this year and I’m looking forward to the Monaco Grand Prix, » said Hamilton.
« As some people know, I take great care of my helmet and it’s an honor to add a little shine to it. »
Kovalainen added: « I am always very excited about the Monaco Grand Prix. It’s the one all drivers want to win. The Steinmetz diamonds on my helmet will bring something special. »
Hamilton has already presented his helmet at the McLaren Technology Centre at the beginning of the week, while Kovalainen will receive his on Wednesday in Monaco.
