Formula 1 drivers and their wives or girlfriends will take part in a fashion show at the Monaco Grand Prix to raise funds for the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF).
It is the agency The Amber Fashion that will provide the clothes, created by Steve Rider and Ecclestone’s daughter, Tamara. This fashion show will take place on the Friday evening of the Monaco Grand Prix and will showcase some of the most beautiful clothes in the world designed for men or women.
In addition to this fashion show, there will be an auction that includes prizes such as a one-week cruise on the magnificent yacht of Vijay Mallya, owner of the boat and the Force India team, as well as a piano that Elton John used to write and record some of his famous songs.
Sonia Irvine, the director of Amber Fashion, stated: « It is an honor for Amber Fashion to support the EJAF, and we are very grateful to David Furnish for getting involved in this project. »
« His Royal Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco will also honor us with his presence while Bernie Ecclestone and his family took care of the guests. »
« We are firmly convinced that this year the event will be very successful with Formula 1 drivers and their wives or girlfriends present on the podiums. »
