The FIA appoints a lawyer in the Mosley case

The FIA has appointed lawyer Anthony Scrivener to conduct a detailed analysis of the allegations concerning Max Mosley’s privacy. The aim is to determine whether the rumors of Nazi-related actions are accurate.

The newspaper ‘News of the World’ claimed that Mosley was involved in a Nazi-themed orgy with prostitutes. This cast doubt on his future as the president of the FIA.

However, Mosley has firmly denied the existence of any Nazi attitude in his sexual behavior. The FIA will now conduct a thorough investigation to address this issue before the General Assembly meeting set for June 3, which will decide the future of the FIA president.

In a statement released by the FIA this Monday, the governing body said: « FIA leaders have appointed Anthony Scrivener as an independent expert to undertake a comprehensive analysis of the available data regarding the allegations concerning Mr. Mosley. The latter welcomed this appointment. »

Mr. Scrivener will provide an opinion indicating whether the available data supports the version of the ‘News of the World’ newspaper. This opinion will be available to members attending the extraordinary FIA meeting on June 3rd.

Scrivener is a prominent member of the British bar.
