« These are only tests, but of course, it’s always nice to be only 27 thousandths behind Ekström. It shows that we are very close to each other, » Scheider said on the official DTM website.
« The weather conditions are much more pleasant here than in Mugello. It is still a bit early to judge, but we will have a clearer picture by Saturday in Hockenheim where all the teams will be present, » he continued.
Third in a Mercedes, Paul Di Resta is ahead of his teammate Jamie Green. Alexandre Prémat finishes fifth and Mike Rokenfeller sixth.
The novice and former F1 driver, Ralf Schumacher, is seventh in a 2007 version Mercedes Class-C.
