Super-Aguri is heading for a reshuffle!

The new owners of the Super-Aguri team will be making a reshuffle in the management. The changes will take place next month, and the general manager, Daniel Audetto, might be concerned about his future…

The team based in Leafield will be taken over by the automotive consultancy company Magma. The offer will be set before the end of the month.

Although this agreement has helped to secure the future of the structure after months of financial difficulties, some sources have suggested that the takeover will likely be associated with a reshuffling of the hierarchical structure.

The director of Magma, Martin Leach, addressed the Super-Aguri team staff at Albert Park on Wednesday evening to share his future objectives with them.

And although Leach has not provided any details about the changes he plans to make, there are strong suspicions surrounding Audetto and his future within the team.

He will be absent from the season-opening race in Melbourne, as he was recently in Japan for the press conference that confirmed the arrival of Magma.

He returned home afterward rather than heading to Australia. A rare, if not unique, occurrence since Audetto has never missed one of his team’s races.

Leach could therefore become the team principal while Suzuki could take on new responsibilities. Other significant changes are expected to occur.

Before the Monaco Grand Prix, Magma is expected to give the team a whole new image and should change the colors of the car. With the support of the sponsors, it is also possible that Super-Aguri will change its name.
