Massa and the Forecasts: An Impossible Agreement!

Felipe Massa is unable to make any predictions for the Australian Grand Prix, as he believes that Ferrari and McLaren will be on the same level and the battle will be tough.

These two teams set the pace during the winter testing, and although some believe that Ferrari is slightly ahead, the McLarens were the fastest in the latest tests in Barcelona.

Massa, Ferrari driver, believes he is well prepared for the first race, but he admits having difficulty assessing the condition of his main competitors.

« A prediction for Melbourne? I would prefer to talk about it after the race! In my opinion, before the race is not the best time, » said Massa in Barcelona.

« What I can say is that I have completed my winter testing program. I did two race simulations in five days. I am satisfied with the performances achieved and the way we worked. »

« Certainly, there are always some aspects to work on to improve the car, but we have done everything we were supposed to do. I hope to produce something good for the Melbourne race. »

He added: « McLaren is still a top team and is always competitive. It might be the one with the most potential among all the teams. »

Despite his rather cautious approach, he believes in Scuderia and thinks that the F2008 has improved significantly over the past few weeks.

« Last week, we did an excellent job with the new aerodynamic package, and I was very satisfied. This week, I did a very different job. In my opinion, we are at an excellent level, » concluded the Brazilian.
