After competing for the Independents’ crown in 2007, Belgian driver Pierre-Yves Corthals is now ready for a second season with the Exagon Engineering team led by Luc Marchetti.
The young Belgian will be the only Seat driver in this category in 2008 and will face a host of BMW drivers.
It seems that I will be the only SEAT representative in the Independents’ Trophy against a bunch of BMW drivers. I won three times in 2007, but I also experienced some mishaps and was involved in incidents that I could have avoided. It didn’t allow me to do better.
Last year, the team and I gained a lot of experience and I intend to use it to win the Independents’ title, Corthals stated.
