The snow finally fell last night in Sweden and should be at least in as large quantity for the 2008 Swedish WRC rally, which will start on February 7th.
With nearly 10cm fallen yesterday, Karistad, the host city of the rally, has finally taken on its traditional white colors that are the hallmark of the only winter rally in 2008.
« The weather conditions expected for the rally give us temperatures between -4°C and +2°C during the 4 days over which the event takes place. This suggests further snowfalls, » commented a spokesperson for the Rally Sweden.
